David Stish first purchased the central Minnesota farm in 1978. It has been a Certified Family Forest, Tree Farm System since 1980. Dave and Polly Stish operated a cut-your-own Christmas tree farm and a pick-your-own strawberry business. The family transitioned to pumpkins, specialty crops and ag entertainment in 2012.

Triple S Pumpkins, LLC is owned and operated by the Russ and Carla Gerads family. Dave and Polly started partnering with the Gerads in 2017 and began the transition of ownership of Triple S Pumpkins to the Gerads in 2020. Today, Dave and Polly are the Gerads’ landlords and partner with them through the year.

Pumpkins and winter squash are grown on 12 irrigated acres and sold on the farm each fall. The Stish and Gerads families have about 20,000 guests who enjoy trails, play areas, and pick-your-own pumpkins. Weekdays and evenings are filled with school field trips and private parties.

The Gerads and Stish families strive to provide an affordable place for families to experience an operational pumpkin farm and enjoy the great outdoors together.
